Membership Fees Are Due
Along with the election of officers, membership fees become due on 01 MAR.
Fees are $25.00 for a year, $30.00 family, and $375.00 lifetime.
How to pay?
Mail a check to the address at the top of this Bulletin.
Or show up in person at a monthly meeting and pay our Treasurer, Steve Miller, AA5V. This month's meeting is on the 28th at the Delta Cafe, 41st & Garnett, 7 PM (unless we find another location). Come early to eat, or to just get a good seat!
What if you want to do it the 21st Century way, online? Well, if you have a PayPal account, you can. You sign in to your account, select the Send and Request Money feature, then select Pay for Goods or Services.. The system will ask for an email, use wa5lvt@tulsahamradio.org. Then once you’ve entered the email, set the amount, add the description, “2017 TRO Membership Dues for < your name & callsign >,” designate the checking account or debit/credit card you wish to use, and submit. Both you and Steve should receive confirmation emails when the payment is processed. If you need additional help, contact me or Steve.
If you haven't yet joined for the first time, please go to the club website and download the membership application form and mail it in with a copy of your license, or bring those with you to a meeting.

To see if you are a current member, you can check the roster at:

Your dues are important to the club, for they help keep the repeaters on the air in good working order!

Everyone Keeps Getting Older.. Including The TRO
The 50th anniversary of the TRO is coming up this year. The state of Oklahoma granted the charter on 07 JUL 1967. Fifteen years ago we held a special event station at Helmerich Park on Riverside Drive to mark our 35th anniversary, and we are looking at doing the same this year. Do you have any other ideas for how we can celebrate? If so, send your ideas to me, TRO Vice President Paul Young at
ke5ehm@tulsahamradio.org, or TRO Activity Chairman Kenneth Baucum, KG5CBM, at
wlmailhtml:kg5cbm@tulsahamradio.org.

What's On The Program?
In order to make our meetings more fun, interesting, and useful for our members, the Executive Committee has decided to get back to having programs every month. But we need your help. Do you have an idea for a program? If so, let us know!
Are you curious about some aspect of ham radio, and would like to see a program on the topic? Let us know!
You don't have to put on the program, but if you are able and willing to do so, that would be great! Just tell us your idea, and we will work on putting it together.
The programs don't have to be about ham radio. Hams tend to be technical people, so anything technical or scientific will do.
By the way, we used to tour a TV or broadcast radio station, or the Tulsa EOC, or the NWS Office once a year, but we haven't done that in about a decade. Let us know if you would like to go on such a tour, and where.

All Ham Operators are Welcome and Invited to a Ham Radio Meet and Greet at the Okmulgee County Emergency Operations Center (EOC).
We have some new amateur radio operators in Okmulgee County and we would like to have everyone (both seasoned & new hams) come by for a morning of coffee and conversation.
