Meteorology on the Web #2
Last week I posted a link to a PDF document for A Short Course In Meteorology. For those who want to go a little further in the science of weather, I recommend Jeff Haby’s website:
www.theweatherprediction.com.This site is designed for people that want to become their own forecaster, but if someone is interested in becoming a full-fledged meteorologist, it will give them the best preview of everything involved. Jeff Haby is an instructor in the meteorology programs at Mississippi State University, so he has a strong interest and experience in teaching weather science.
Links to various topics are arranged in grids and lists. If you have some weather knowledge, and want to know about topics that you recognize, you could jump around from topic to topic. If you want a more systematic approach, look for the heading Weather Prediction Education and Resources. The top line of the grid has numbered links in blue. You can follow those links in order to start a more formal education in meteorology. Of course, this is no substitute for taking a college course, but it may be enough for most people.
Camp Bandage TRO Public Relations Event

Request For Feedback
For the Bulletin to continue to be the useful tool I intend it to be, I need
your feedback. I need to know of any items that I should add, remove or change.
I will consider all suggestions.
Plus any comments about the quality or the handling of the Bulletin will be
appreciated.
Please send any comments, corrections, additions, etc., to kc5zqm@cox.net. DO
NOT send them as a reply to the WA5LVT Yahoogroup, unless you want the entire
group to see them before I have a chance to review them.
