NEW YEAR, NEW OFFICERS (somewhat)

I missed the meeting Tuesday night, so I don't know what happened concerning nominations for new officers. From e-mail correspondence since then, it seems that Stan Callahan, KE5HPB, has agreed to a third year of tor--- uh, service as President, Ben Joplin, WB5VST, will step up as VP, Steve Miller, AA5V, will move in as Treasurer. All other positions will remain the same for now. However, nominations from the floor can be made at the February meeting, so you can still volunteer your own or someone else's name.

ARES Exercise Idea In The Works

I am working on an idea for an ARES exercise to be conducted as part of the Thursday night net. The exercise will occur on just one net, but preparations will happen on the net in the weeks leading up to the exercise. More on this as it develops....
