Field Day 2012 Plans
TRO and TARC will combine operations again at Chandler Park. Callsign for the combined operation will be W5OK (Weird 5 Old Klingons?) For the Saturday evening meal, the TARC will provide the meat and the TRO will provide the sides and desserts. Joe Gorkos, N5TEX is looking for help on the sides and desserts. Contact Joe at n5tex@tulsahamradio.org.
Broken Arrow ARC will be gong to the same place they have been the last few years by Asbury United Methodist Church, 71st & Mingo.
If you are aware of any other groups in the Tulsa area that are planning a FD operation, send me the information and I'll be glad to include it here. Just put the info in an email to kc5zqm@cox.net.
Winding Down, Winding Up
We have seen plenty of public service activity recently, with 3 events within the last 14 days. Now things are winding down, with only Field Day left on the calendar in 2 weeks. This is also a time to start 'winding up' for the fall. If you have participated in any of the recent events, or if you just sat and listened to the radio activity, think back over what you did and heard and look for ways to improve your preparations for later events. You don't have to go all out as if you were preparing for a zombie apocalypse, but if you choose to do that, that's fine. Inspect your jump kits and go bags, and look at not only what is there, but what isn't there and should be. Ask yourself, "What went right? What went wrong? What can I do better?"

Request For Feedback
For the Bulletin to continue to be the useful tool I intend it to be, I need your feedback. I need to know of any items that I should add, remove or change. I will consider all suggestions.
Plus any comments about the quality or the handling of the Bulletin will be appreciated.
Please send any comments, corrections, additions, etc., to kc5zqm@cox.net. DO NOT send them as a reply to the WA5LVT Yahoogroup, unless you want the entire group to see them before I have a chance to review them.
