TRO Nominating Committee
 The TRO will hold elections for the 2012 officers in a couple of months.  Mark Conklin, N7XYO, is heading up the Nominating Committee, and he needs volunteers to help him make sure the club has a sufficient number of vic- uh, leaders for the next year.  If you wish to serve on the committee, or to serve as a TRO officer, contact Mark at n7xyo@arrl.net or 918-232-8346.
 

ARES Volunteer Meeting, Zones 5 & 6, Saturday 28 JAN 2012 

On Saturday the 28th of January 2012 we will hold a meeting at the Hardesty Regional Library at; 8316 E. 93rd St. Tulsa, OK. 74133 from 09:00AM to 12:00 Noon. The state, zone and district cadre will be at this meeting to discuss recent leadership changes and to address upcoming events and planning.

We are asking that all ARES volunteers in zones 5 & 6 who can attend this meeting please do so.

Further information and an agenda will be published as the meeting date approaches.

Tulsa County Skywarn Training
The Tulsa NWS office has 3 Skywarn spotter training sessions scheduled for Tulsa County.  The first is 1900 (7PM) Tuesday, 31 JAN 12 in Sand Springs at the Case Community Center.  The other two are in early March: 0900 (9AM), Saturday, 05 MAR 12 at the OU Schusterman Center, 41st & Yale, and 1900 (7PM), 05 MAR 12 at the Broken Arrow Community Center.  For other training sessions, see the calendar available at this link: http://www.srh.noaa.gov/tsa/?n=spotter_training.

Post Oak Challenge 25 - 26 FEB 2012 (Saturday & Sunday)
 5323 West 31st Street North, Tulsa OK
