Time To Move
The management of CityPlex has asked the TRO to move the 146.88 repeater from the 59th to the 60th floor. Current plan is to make the move around 1800 hrs (6 PM) this Thursday, 27 OCT 11. Ben Joplin, WB5VST is the contact person on this project: 918-639-2853 Cell, 918-396-1651 Home, or benj1@aol.com.
A-hunting We Will Go!
No guns needed, but an Arrow antenna might help. The TRO will have a foxhunt this Saturday, and Tom Hance KD5CNY will be the fox. Listen to 146.280, the input to the .88 repeater, starting at 0930. The hunt will continue until someone finds Tom, or 1700 hrs., whichever comes first. Tom will hide out somewhere in Tulsa County, in a publicly accesible place. He will transmit for 30 seconds, every 5 minutes. Happy hunting!
TRO Display at Hobby Fair
The Hicks Community Center, 3443 S. Mingo RD, Tulsa, OK, is having a Hobby Fair, Saturday, 05 NOV 11 from 0930 to 1130. They have invited the TRO to set up a display of radios and club info. If you can help with this, contact Tom Stroud, KD5OPH at 918-695-3735 or kd5oph@tulsahamradio.org, or Cindy Downes, K5CED, at 918-630-3636 orcindy@me.com.
Williams Route 66 Marathon
The Williams Route 66 Marathon organization has two events coming up that the TRO is organizing communications for. On 19 NOV they will have a training event, one day before the Full Marathon on 20 NOV. Volunteers will need to not only contact Tom Stroud, KD5OPH, but also register on the Marathon website AFTER receiving a passcode from Tom.

Request For Feedback
For the Bulletin to continue to be the useful tool I intend it to be, I need your feedback. I need to know of any items that I should add, remove or change. I will consider all suggestions.
Plus any comments about the quality or the handling of the Bulletin will be appreciated.
Please send any comments, corrections, additions, etc., to kc5zqm@cox.net. DO NOT send them as a reply to the WA5LVT Yahoogroup, unless you want the entire group to see them before I have a chance to review them.
